Bitdefender GravityZone Cloud Security - Installation failed at 72%

Solution


  • Boot your computer in safe mode
    Open a command prompt windows with administrative rights
    Navigate to the path where the uninstall tool is located
    Run the uninstall tool from command line, with the following parameters: /bdparams /bruteForce



Open C:\ProgramFiles and delete the Bitdefender folder 
Open C:\ProgramData and delete the Bitdefender folder (also the *.bdinstall.bin files you have here) 
Open Registry Editor with administrative privileges and delete from Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ the Bitdefender Entry and Endpoint Security (if available).
